clandestine and corrosive, fingers

scatter hips, trace lips and 

flutter

one

an invocation of kane,

i have never met myself -

only gaunt

charisma

and saplings of 

limbs

 

dead weight carried 

through collar

bones,

caustic and

clean,

 

keeps me peeled

from me.

reaching through the firmament,

i dance with delilah

and collect my roses. 

 

cautious and comatose 

enveloped in white

i flutter through the gauze

entangling tendons

like a noose. 

 

mother,  

    i cannot turn.

    i let go your language. 

mother,

    yahweh holds the knife.
