"Inspired, often by subjects that run through my life experience as a foreigner in France, in Europe and my vision of the world, sometimes by anecdotal aspects of my close or distant surroundings, my paintings are often presented in series, diptychs or triptychs. In general, they are formally inspired from the aesthetics of postcards, video calls, maps, illustrated albums, identity photos, family portraits and icons of the Catholic religion, the flattening of planes as in telephone photos and Internet explorations."
