Mai Thai (b. 1995) is an interdisciplinary Los Angeles based artist. Their work encompasses photography, sculpture, installation, drawing and performance that covers a wide gamut of themes, from the duality of binaries, trauma and desire to bending light and reality. Their perspective as a queer, nonbinary, neurodivergent Vietnamese American informs their artistic practice in their search for QTPOC abstraction. They are currently a '23 BFA candidate in Fine Arts at Otis College of Art and Design.
